Anne the Observer   Written by JoAnn Elizabeth (9/21/2005 9:28 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Silent Anne, penned by Margaret 7
Are you new?

In their own stories, we see very quickly that Elizabeth debates with spirit, that Elinor supports and guides, that Catharine has been a tomboy and seeks romantic adventure, that Emma interferes, that Fanny serves. They are all active heroines.

Perhaps it is too early in the read to comment this, but Anne waits and watches. She is very passive in the beginning of this tale.

I will watch with you for the momment when she acts for her own benefit, rather than simply allowing life to happen to her. She has been on the sidelines since the break-up with CFW.
