Are you new?

My copy (Oxford Illustrated Jane Austen) has a note that says "1800 should probably be 1801". So it's probably just a mistake that Austen didn't have time to revise. I'm looking forward to hearing about the revisions Austen might have made if she'd had more time.

(By the way, this is my first post in a Group Read.)
