Silence is not always golden   Written by Tara O'Donnell (9/21/2005 10:01 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Silence, penned by Chris DS
Are you new?

What a good topic-silence is a strong part of the book, after all we don't even hear from Anne in the first chapter and she's the leading lady!

Elizabeth is also silent about her unmarried state but you can tell
that she's unhappy by her finding the Baronetage",the book an evil; and more than once, when her father had left it open on the table near her, had she closed it, with averted eyes, and pushed it away."
