I am sorry if there are any spoilers in my post “Only what is best for her.” I tried not to let any foreknowledge seep into it. I based the last two paragraphs on the last paragraph of Chapter 3 and on the last seven paragraphs of Chapter 4.

I was of course assuming that LR can read the Navy lists and papers as well as Anne and connect that he would eventually visit the Crofts and be in the neighborhood again. I will be more careful.
