From 14 to 17?   Written by Art (9/21/2005 1:05 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, How long was Anne at school?, penned by Karen Ilene
Are you new?

From chapter 2:

"And with regard to Anne's dislike of Bath, she considered it as a prejudice and mistake arising, first, from the circumstance of her having been three years at school there, after her mother's death"

I'm assuming that the three years of school started immediately after Lady Elliot's death, or when Anne was 14 to 17 -- unless she was kept in school somewhere else until 19. I don't think that happened.

Or if the three years began a couple of years after Lady Elliot's death, she could conceivably have been at school from 16 to 19. But I don't think Anne's dislike of Bath would have been so pronounced if she'd had two years to adjust after her mother died before being sent there.
