How long was Anne at school?

How long was Anne at school? Written by Karen Ilene (9/20/2005 7:38 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Well, convincing Anne to break her engagement, penned by Annette J.

When Anne is 19, how long had she been at school? Could LR really judge then how Anne's fatehr and sister would continue to treat her? Couldn't LR expect that Elizabeth would marry and leave as well? We judge LR knowing what we know about Anne now, 8 years on - but the younger Anne was not quite the same person - how much time had they spent together as women, rather than mother-figure and daughter?
