I wanted to ask those who know more than I do about the dates featured in the early chapters. Maybe some of you who participated in the recent Letter GR can help me out.

I know one date given is Austen's own birthday. Interestingly it is Mary's wedding anniversary. I wonder if this was to add a little personal/family joke without raising the suspicion that she patterned any of the characters on herself.

"Married, December 16, 1810, Charles, son and heir of Charles Musgrove, Esq.

So what of the others... are there any other special dates of her friends and family?
