Getting paid? Written by Cheryl (9/19/2005 10:15 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Mr . Shepherd's interest, penned by KateL

My feeling is that Mr Shepherd's interest is in getting pair. If Sir Walter hasn't the money to pay his creditors, how is he paying Mr Shepherd? Mr Shepherd is performing a service for Sir Walter, just as is the tradesmen. It is in Mr Shepherd's own interest that Sir Walter be solvent.

Though I think Mr Shepherd shrewd enough that he sees that he gets paid first! ;-)
