Are you new?

I remember as a girl reading books where the characters were described as dark, and thought it meant dark skin.


Couldn't understand how dark people could be the characters in the books, I was reading.
Realised soon enough, it meant people with dark hair, on the dark brown or black side, I think.
I guess dark eyes would mean that too, otherwise they would be referred to as blue, whether light or dark.
