If you do not mind, however, I think you misunderstood Elizabeth's foreseeing Darcy's feelings of triumph if he knew her current opinion. I do not think Elizabeth thought Darcy would feel triumph at his escape - rather the triumph would be at her humble reception of the proposal she formerly proudly spurned.

Thanks for keeping this up for the Group Read! It was well worth the read!
