If Col. Fitzwilliam had decided that he could after all marry whom he liked and didn't have to look out for a girl with a lot of money, and if he had made an offer to Lizzy, would she have accepted him?


If he'd done it before Darcy's proposal, I actually think she would have. What do you think?
