I'm not sure if either of them would have changed had they married sooner. I prefer to think that they would have once they were allowed to settle in to their marriage and open up, but it think it would have taken quite a while.

If they had married in the spring, I'm pretty sure Wickham would have avoided the younger Bennet girls like the plague. I really don't think he would have knowingly attached himself to Darcy again after the Georgiana incident.
