there can be nothing so advantageous to them as instruction   Written by Stephanie (5/18/2010 2:56 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, "We all love to instruct", penned by Tom P2
Are you new?

I thought it was a more general observation: one can teach math, geometry, history, but none can teach you about your own heart or happiness. That is a journey that is completely individual, and everyone's answer will be different - and worthless, unless discovered oneself, not handed to one prettily tied with a bow.

But, then, why am I attempting instruction? ;)

By the way, Lady CatdB and Mr. Collins are proud of their ability to 'instruct,' but I admire Elizabeth's 'instructions' to Georgianna much more:

By Elizabeth's instructions she began to comprehend that a woman may take liberties with her husband which a brother will not always allow in a sister more than ten years younger than himself.
