The interchange between Lizzy and Lady Catherine is one of my favourite passages in P&P. I fervently implore Providence that when I am beset by such a rude, meddling, busybody, buttinski such as Lady C. that I can reply with such forebearance, wit and composure as Miss Elizabeth Bennet.
