Wickham is a con man   Written by Anne-Marie (5/16/2010 1:04 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Is Wickham a compulsive liar?, penned by Kathleen Glancy
Are you new?

He's been able to use his charm and good looks to get away with things all his life. He was able, according to Darcy's account, to put up a good front for Darcy's father, and he plays the part of a perfectly charming new husband when coming back with Lydia to see his in-laws. He's not quite clever enough to con his way out of paying his debts, though.
