Are you new?

What kind of boor would say, potentially within the hearing of a woman, that she was neither good looking enough nor (for whatever reason) good enough for him to dance with?

Maybe the same kind who would show up, if not with the intention of snubbing all the local ladies, at least not caring whether he snubbed them.
