How about this twisted little absurdity?   Written by jeffrey (5/12/2010 3:28 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, she could see it and write of it LONG, penned by Stephanie

From Ch 27: Miss Austen is just so comical with these little quips and this one takes deadly aim at our poor Mr. Collins:

"..... Thank Heaven! I am going to-morrow where I shall find a man who has not one agreeable quality, who has neither manner nor sense to recommend him....."

There are a couple more of these tortured little zingers right at the end of the book that I want to share when the time comes around.
