I'm reminded of the "elegant ladies" who waited on the Bingley sisters back in ch.9. IMO, Elizabeth expects to see an imposing, awe-inspiring woman who is not very comfortable to be around, which would be many people's idea of the right kind of servant to impress others with. The fact that she is pleasant and polite is an indication that Mr. Darcy may have a more admirable set of values after all!
