on the frounds that Charlotte's brothers, in the plural, were relieved of the apprehension of her becoming an old maid when she became engaged to Mr Collins. The brother who, if he was as rich as Mr Darcy, would have a pack of foxhounds and drink a bottle of wine a day strikes me as being too immature to have realistic worries about the future
