Funny!! Thank you!   Written by Nancy Ann (5/7/2010 9:56 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, LOL! And she'll have fun, fun, fun, penned by Kathleen Glancy
Are you new?

Which leads me to the rather stunning awareness, again, that it's all so relative and utterly dependent upon one's society at the time! In our own world, Lydia would fit right in with many other teens who "just wanna have fun"!! (Adults too.) There would not be nearly such consternation on a sister's part, as Lizzy feels at the prospect of Lydia 'going on Spring Break with friends'. Humans were subjected to such narrow paths of behavior 'when Lydia was a girl'. The Jane and Elizabeth personalities probably took to those narrow pathways better than the Lydia types. I wonder how each of us would do if judged by that society?!! As teens, as adults, as parents, as siblings? Your 'Fun fun fun' allusion sure took me back to my own Beach Boys days in So. California!!
