I Actually Must Commend You   Written by BarbaraB (5/7/2010 6:48 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, What is (almost) everyone here suggesting to a first-time..., penned by Adrian
Are you new?

When I saw your response to Aaron, I wondered if you were a first-time reader which made it confusing for me because so many of your thoughts and comments have been better than what I'm used to seeing from most first-time readers in a GR. I actually went back to the announcement for the Group Read on the P&P Board to see if you were listed as a newbie to the novel. It had scrolled off and I wasn't inclined to go looking through the archives. Most newbies have at least seen one adaptation---which is what usually brings them to Pemberley. I tried to address my answer to you so it would work if you were a newbie or an old timer. I have at least one more Mr. Bennet post (maybe two) since I've gone and made him my focus. I would love to know your perceptions as we get further into the book. :)
