How could he not know Lydia is stupid?   Written by Anne-Marie (5/7/2010 9:38 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Mr. Bennet thinks Lydia is silly, not stupid!, penned by Adrian
Are you new?

Even Mr. Bennet must be aware that Lydia isn't spending a lot of time in the library or learning how to play the piano. She's only 15 years old and apparently her learning has come to an end. Maybe he thinks she's going to the library to read, and not to flirt with officers! Like the old Beach Boys song: "Seems she forgot all about the library like she told her old man now!"
