Do you think Darcy would have left Lizzy at Hunsford... Written by Adrian (5/6/2010 11:27 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, were questions with which she amused herself, penned by Stephanie

...and at LC's mercy if Lizzy had accepted his proposal? Talk about a logistics problem (LOL)! Perhaps Darcy would have stayed and endured the bellow of the blast while sending Lizzy and Maria back to Longbourn or Gracechurch Street in his coach (with a servant accompanying, of course).

(I know: no chance JA would have let the proposal go through at that stage.)
