Love the GDAD perspective, too! Yes, lack of fatherly attention could be an influence. I also would attribute Lydia's behavior to her being an extrovert and self-centered. These factors in addition to the ADD -- can't keep still, easily bored -- would be my speculation.

Like Lizzie, I enjoy observing people's behavior and trying to sort out why they behave as they do.
