If one is insulted by Lydia, it is usually unknowingly done. She seems not to have any intention to hurt, in most cases. But if her ignorance does offend, I suppose the wisest course is to consider the source.

Does anyone really think that refusing Mr. Collins because marrying him would have no fun in it is a well-thought-out proposition? *chuckles*
