Lydia has a very low moral compass indeed and it is a shame that she feels the need to harp and pick and be insensative. If you look to Mrs. Bennet we can see where she gets it from. I fear she is Mrs. Bennet's favorite because the are too much the same. I often cringe at some of Lydia's comments, and feel for who ever is the direct target of the insult.
