One addition point Darcy made about Wickham   Written by Adrian (5/4/2010 11:05 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Darcy, the Conversationalist -- Week 4 (Long), penned by gianni
Are you new?

In between the points...

  • Wickham nearly disappeared for about three years
  • suddenly found to be romancing Georgiana with the aid of her companion, Mrs. Younge
Wickham returned (broke) to ask for the living after all, since it was vacant.

For about three years I heard little of him; but on the decease of the incumbent of the living which had been designed for him, he applied to me again by letter for the presentation.
(Ch. 35)

Other than that one point, what a wonderful summation!
