because when Elizabeth was leaving at the end of her visit to Hunsford,(chapter 38) it says about Charlotte,

"Her home and her housekeeping, her parish and her poultry, and all their dependent concerns, had not yet lost their charms.", implying in my opinion that these things will eventually no longer be enough to make her happy.
