I've always had a pet hope, if not theory   Written by Nancy Ann (5/2/2010 9:45 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Anne's lack of social skills is surprising, penned by Anne-Marie
Are you new?

that Anne could just be the brow-beaten daughter of a domineering mother, her frailties probably mostly psychological in origin. If Lady C. should die in the next few years (accidentally fall down the stairs?!) perhaps Anne could still 'blossom' (relatively speaking) and have a more satisfying life...."Now voyager sail forth to seek and find." I've long-hoped for that on Anne's account. I have a feeling you're right: she's never been allowed to do anything.
