Are you new?

I have yet to see that the estate is mismanaged. We do know that Mrs. Bennet would overspend if it wasn't that Mr. Bennet did not choose to limit their spending to what income came in but no where does it say it's mismanaged. I think with Charlotte in charge of the household the Collins would be able to save and maybe invest more back into it but remember Mr Collins is cheap with his own money.

Charlotte has only been in the area for the 6 months and will most likely find others as time goes by. She also will be having a family and so on. I do think her life has become easier (she is no longer needed to make the pies) and will be even more so when they are at Longbourn.
