What I don't understand is.... Written by Reeba (4/29/2010 2:13 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Advice to Lizzy from others regarding Wickham, penned by Karen G

the part of Mr Bennet's comment that says;

"You will hardly bear to be long outdone by Jane."

Of course it isn't something anyone would want to outdo anyone in, so one sees his joke here, but the hint that Lizzy would not long want to be outdone by Jane leaves me wondering, because I don't think Lizzy would mind Jane outdoing her.
