Dangerous Liaison   Written by Robbin (4/28/2010 10:49 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, That reminds of what Lizzy says, penned by Connie
Are you new?

Charlotte says “I am convinced that my chance of happiness with him [Mr. Collins] is as fair as most people can boast on entering the marriage state” (23). Saying it does not make it true. I think Charlotte would have a greater chance of happiness with a man she likes and respects. Charlotte can set-up her comfortable house and their routines so that she sees Mr. Collins as little as possible but he will still be there day in and day out, year in and year out still stupid and embarrassing until (really) death do them part. EEK! (:D)
