Are you new?

I agree that the lack of education provided by the Bennets is a concern, but did you really expect more. Mrs. Bennet is as silly as they come and her only care is that her daughters make good matches, she obviously took little notice that an education might help in landing them proper husbands. Mr Bennet wanted peace and seems to notice little that is outside his own study. But it gives me a healthy respect for those Bennet girls that did indeed try to educate themselves! Such as Lizzie or Jane.
