a bit of rivalary   Written by RobertaK (4/24/2010 6:31 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Mrs. Lucas, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

In chapter 5 you are introduced to Mrs Lucas with this

"Lady Lucas was a very good kind of woman, not too clever to be a valuable neighbour to Mrs. Bennet."

And in chapter 3
"First of all he asked Miss Lucas. I was so vexed to see him stand up with her! but, however, he did not admire her at all: indeed, nobody can, you know; "

Mrs. Bennet was not very nice to her good friend either. One of the biggest advantages of the match is the Longbourn estate.
