it didn't have to be completely over ;)   Written by Karen G (4/24/2010 4:27 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, But there's no need, penned by OlgaI
Are you new?

Mr. Collins and Mrs. Bennet were both in self-denial at first about the absolute rejection Elizabeth gave. Pressure may not have been completely off from Mrs. Bennet to convince Lizzy, or to offer up another one of her children for sacrifice to the alter [of/] with Mr. Collins. Charlotte was relieving Elizabeth and all of the Bennets from Mr. Collins by inviting him over, etc. ;) However that being said, frankly, in my last post I was mostly thinking of this in amusing way, and taking the "wingman" concept to the extreme, and I should have included a winking smiley face when I wrote that Elizabeth should be grateful. Not to be taken seriously. Sorry the joking tone that I was thinking didn't come across. :)
