In fact, I'm finding a lot of things funny in P+P this time through! I think I went through a more 'deadly serious' phase with the book and some of its characters for awhile, but this time through I'm smiling lots more, chuckling, laughing...it's so nice to get back to that 'light and bright' side! I loved seeing your "hee hee" in the title line and have to smile so much at Charlotte as a 'man stealer'! (I also think I know a few semi-Charlottes, and truthfully, they are not all what I'd call unhappy women. I think 'happiness' encompasses many variables. Sometimes other factors weigh in hugely! Liszy at age 40-50 may see things differently too.)
