I am not sure hovering etc can not be combined with a certain inclination. He is handsome, smart and young, after all!

And the fact that she overdoes a little (f.e. with "fine eyes" and domestic felicity plans) doesn't speak of a perfect cold-blooded calculation. She tends to plunge, to be involved, at the very least :)
