Elisabeth's opinion is...   Written by Reeba (4/23/2010 4:39 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Charlottes Happiness, penned by Aaron
Are you new?

from the POV of one who is not yet one and twenty.

Charlotte's is from the POV of one who has turned seven and twenty.
The fact that Elisabeth is shocked makes me think that she wasn't aware of Charlotte's approaching 'spinsterhood' age which may have changed or modified Charlotte's opinion of marriage.

I think both must have shared the same opinion once, that's why Elisabeth is shocked.

Who knows, if not married Elisabeth too might have changed her opinion.

I find it unfair to weigh their opinions considering the 6+ years of disappointment on Charlotte's side.
