I would feel happier if I knew Charlotte had chosen a happy life, not just a happy beginning. But, yes, this does seem a better match for her then Elizabeth.

Also, better for Mr. Collins. Charlotte strikes me as a better mate for him in running a small household and in being more settled in her expectations.

Side note: when do you think she started angling for Mr. Collins's romantic notice?
