I admit I was one of those who took an entail for granted, as an unbreakable thing, so thank you for the info. Greatly appreciated!

I do have one question, though:

When Mr Bennet turned 21, he and his father could break the entail together, right? But what if Mr Bennet's father died before Mr Bennet was 21? Would it then still be possible to break the entail?
