As no objection was made to the young people's engagement with their aunt, and all Mr. Collins's scruples of leaving Mr. and Mrs. Bennet for a single evening during his visit were most steadily resisted, the coach conveyed him and his five cousins at a suitable hour to Meryton.
Five girls and Mr. Collins fit in Mr. Bennet's coach?
Chapter 18 gives us much grander entertainment: the Ball at Netherfield! Perhaps we have overstayed our welcome, but:
The Longbourn party were the last of all the company to depart, and by a manoeuvre of Mrs. Bennet, had to wait for their carriages a quarter of an hour after everybody else was gone.
Five girls, two parents and Mr. Collins requiere more than one carriage. Mr. Bennet had more than one carriage? Is a carriage different than a coach?
