Are you new?

In the original post The poster described Mary saying she was the "pretentious git Mary ostentatiously parades whatever pompous nonsense she happens to have been reading that morning." So when I used the term pompous nonsense I was merely using the poster's wording.


Actually I always thought that Mary's vanity vs. pride fit was interesting in context of the story.
