Happiness in marriage is entirely a matter of chance Written by Nina RG (4/22/2010 12:12 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Obviously Charlotte would rather marry than not, penned by kathleen (elder)

Charlotte seems rather cynical, and is not looking for happiness, an agreeable partner etc. Only marriage. She wants a husband, Mr Collins wants a wife. They seem perfect for each other;-D Who should she have chosen if not Mr Collins? She doesn't seem to be looking for Prince Charming.

Whether she'll be happy or not, I don't know. The future must show. But it is entirely a matter of chance, anyway:-D
