Same with "stupid" Written by CarolTS (4/21/2010 2:18 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Fun to Find "Hug" Used in Regency England, penned by Lenora

I had never really noticed the word when I was reading initially, but after I saw an adaptation that used that word, I was horrified at the inserting of modern language they were including!! ;-) Yeah - I was red-faced when I rushed to the book and read that part of the Assembly over again!
