But even if it is just contrariness, is that really intellectually honest? I wouldn't say dishonest either (of course, that means I need a better word since that would be the antonym of my original word!;). I agree that she probably does have a desire to keep the conversation moving and has fun defending views that are not her own! (I know I do!)

I also think that she really likes disagreeing with Darcy. We know from the "dancing a reel" conversation that she actually considers what response will go against him the best!!
