Bingley has been boasting of what we now might call ADHD--impulsivity, inattention to detail, easy distractability; Darcy rather sensibly points out that these traits might be rather inconvenient to their possessor and his friends. Elizabeth defends Bingley's good nature in any & all of its manifestations, I think mainly to contradict Darcy
