...that in this case, they're arguing about persuadability in *small* matters, not big ones! Also, I think Elizabeth may be like Darcy here - she appreciates a particular quality in Bingley without being that way herself.

BTW, why do you think it's "wrong" or "mistaken" for Elizabeth to defend her point about poetry to Darcy? This is not a deep, serious discussion.
