Caroline the sidekick   Written by Elbč (4/16/2010 5:55 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Darcy's feelings toward Caroline, penned by Anne-Marie
Are you new?

Caroline reminds me somewhat of a Disney movie badguy's sidekick.

They always repeat said badguy's statements: "I cannot boast of knowing more than half a dozen, in the whole range of my acquaintance, that are really accomplished." "Nor I, I am sure," said Miss Bingley chpt 8

Are usually set down by the badguy no matter how much they do for said badguy to win their favour: "there is meanness in all the arts which ladies sometimes condescend to employ for captivation. Whatever bears affinity to cunning is despicable."
Miss Bingley was not so entirely satisfied with this reply as to continue the subject.
chpt 8. Ouch.

And no matter how much of a beating they get, they always slink back for more...

Ok, I am exagerating. Now I'm almost tempted to say: "Poor Caroline!"
