Visiting Netherfield   Written by Jane Lucie (4/15/2010 2:17 p.m.)
Are you new?

When Jane receives the letter from Miss Bingley inviting her to dine, Mrs Bennet refuses her the carriage on the grounds that it may rain, and so she should take the horse as she will then have to stay.

Elizabeth agrees that this would be a good plan, but in P&P2 she is shown to disagree with the plan - why do you think this is - does it make her appear too scheming?
