Probably saw her as the best of, in their opinion, a Written by AnnetteJ (4/15/2010 8:04 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Jane is Miss Bennet, penned by Robbin

bad lot. I think they also saw her as harmless, and someone in whom their brother would never be seriously interested, and, therefore, felt safe in making the comment.
